Expanding Officer Christian Fellowship's ability to reach and disciple cadets
Officer's Christian Fellowship is a national nonprofit organization whose purpose is to engage military leaders in Biblical fellowship and growth to equip them for Christlike service at the intersection of faith, family, and profession.
For almost 75 years, OCF has been working at the Coast Guard Academy to reach and equip cadets with the gospel. Since 2010, the Shepherd's Fold property has been the home for OCF field staff and gathering place for cadet ministry.
Through the Lord's providence, the ministry at Shepherd's Fold has continued to grow past the capacity of the existing house for gatherings, cadet recreation, and meals together. Current event rosters must include waitlists due to high interest but limited space. It is clear that building a larger space is required to support the current number of cadets and enable continued growth into the future.
Mission of the project
Reach More Cadets: Host more cadets for community-building gatherings, spiritual mentorship, and praise & worship.
Deepen Discipleship: Offer dedicated breakout rooms for intimate Bible studies and small group discussions.
Enable Growth: Create the space OCF needs to flourish for many years to come.
