Why is this expansion needed?

Shepherd’s Fold was originally built as a single-family home. With growing attendance and increased ministry opportunities, the space can no longer accommodate the number of cadets seeking Christian community.

Where will the new building be located?

The buidling will be constructed on the Shepherd’s Fold property in Quaker Hill, CT, just seven minutes from the Coast Guard Academy. The building will be built behind the existing house, attached by a breezeway. 

When will construction begin?

Construction will start once $XX,XXX has been raised to cover the basement, foundation, and structure.

How much will the project cost?

The full project, including furnishings and outfitted ministry spaces, is estimated at $X.XX million.

Is my donation to this project tax deductible?

Yes, OCF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Since Shepherd’s Fold is owned by OCF, gifts to the ministry are tax deductible. For more information, visit www.ocfusa.org.

Absolutely. Every gift, regardless of size, contributes to building a space that will impact cadets for years to come.

What happens if more money is raised than is needed for the project? 

Additional money that is raised under the OCF USCGA Sustain and Expand Campaign will support the continued maintenance and upkeep of facilities at Shepherd’s Fold into the future.
